Taylor Reeve is a Californian artist who designs men’s clothing for Quiksilver, accessories for Skullcandy, and creates shoes that stand out. She decorates shoe soles with bright unusual pictures like skulls, butterflies and portraits.
Following a successful debut within the Syndicate line, Vans brings back its Zero Lo for Spring 2011, this time as a core model. A bit more widely available and at a lower price point, albeit without all of the premium fixins, the shoes will come in suede/canvas versions, with these three colorways seen here being the premier models for the new program. Look for a release next month through select Vans accounts.

Lanvin’s artistic director Alber Elbaz has brought his unmistakable magic-touch to two H&M collections – one for women and one for men. For the girls, think breathtaking dresses in florals, brights and sumptuous black, plus bags, shoes and jewellery which wouldn’t look out of place in a mainline Lanvin collection. For the guys meanwhile, it’s sporty trousers, tuxedos and, of course, Alber Elbaz signature bow-ties.

Finding unique fashions is becoming easier thanks to artists like Studio Jellyfish who creates hand painted heels.
“The idea came about when I was commissioned to do a job using paint markers,” the artist explains. “I loved the technique and fine art side to it so much that I wanted to find something that could be painted for women to wear.”
She explains that she feels it’s a great way for women to express themselves through fashion. “I hope that when women wear my heels they feel classy, sexy and confident and able to show a bit of individuality that all remarkable women have.” Click here to Read Complete Post »

Fur and faux fur handbags, boots, shoes, scarves at hats were runway hits for fall. Using a fur or faux fur accessory is a fun way to wear the trend, without having to commit to a full-on fur coat or vest. Just remember, a little fur goes a long way.
