H&M Spring Summer 2011 Lookbook
Marc Jacobs Spring Summer 2012 campaign seems to preview a very strong mix of the two. With more conservative items like knit cardigans with contrast piping and shrunken, gold-buttoned blazers mixing seamlessly with shiny waxed pants, nontraditional drawstring-detailed trousers and (literally) gold-plated oxfords – the lookbook offered here is one of Jacobs’ strongest in recent memory.
Footwear designer Christian Louboutin designed an exclusive collection for Gobel’s Fall/Winter 2011 menswear presentation during New York Fashion Week. Complementing Gobel’s line were a range of Louboutin’s motifs from hybrid gold colored spiked slippers and the calmer nude suede slippers.
Japanese clothing company ‘Deluxe’ has always been known for pushing fashion boundaries while still maintaining a very wearable feel. The ‘Deluxe’ Spring/Summer 2011 collection upholds this reputation with plenty of flair.
The biggest standout piece of the ‘Deluxe’ Spring/Summer 2011 line has got to be the the pink slim-cut denim jacket. Paired with a navy hoodie and board shorts, the jacket pops within this interesting ensemble. For the suave but less expressive personality, fear not—the are also more subtle contemporary pieces as well to fit your style.
