First constructed out of heavy duty riveted denim in 1967, Levi’s has reinvented its signature Trucker jacket in many ways and materials from corduroy to canvas, lined with wool or Sherpa or cut-off and worn-in. Always tough and adaptable, different collaborators have injected their varying forms of reinterpretation of the Levi’s Trucker. Opening Ceremony included railroad stripes, Stussy and Neighbourhood introduced darker denim and leather, Billy Reid included black wool, Pendleton offered a removable vest option and Filson made its version with sturdy oil finish Tin Cloth.
Watch the video and see how the jacket has lasted through different landscapes.
