New York Fashion Week: Toni Maticevski Autumn / Fall 2010

The most eye-catching things in Maticevski’s Fall 2010 collection, shown this week at New York Fashion Week, were probably the metal-plated bras; a bold take on lingerie as outerwear, which has more often been confined to the likes of sensual leg-wear than all out bra-exposing (that’s not to say the metallic bras aren’t gorgeous – they are). But the most beautiful things were probably the dainty chiffon blouses and dresses, in greyish-blue with white polka-dots, and with asymmetrical necklines and cross-body slits.
