Issa Kids dresses

The Brazilian-born designer, Daniella Issa Helayal, the founder and director of Issa, has designed an uber-chic collection of garments for kids (ages 0-12) that includes ‘tea dresses, summer party frocks, trench coats, swimwear and shorts in cotton and voile for girls, and funky-print shorts for boys’.

Daniella says her decision to create Baby Issa wasn’t sudden. For lots of time her friends pestered her with requests to dress their beloved little ones into something beautiful. And finally she gave in. What she got in the result was a collection that was light, colorful and allowed for plenty of “freedom of movement.”

Designer says:

“My friends are always asking me to make miniature versions of my dresses for their children. As a Brazilian, my favorite time of year is summer, so it made perfect sense to develop a baby line with the first summer collection based on the sensibilities I usually bring to the main Issa line.”
